Black Diamond – One of his 2nd maps! 4. Fortaleza – Just waiting for an easy drop. We see the original Zerg almost in a panic when they see an attacking Terran with an even amount of force. The former keeps trying to use his new aggression over the latter. Maybe that’s how it started.
As best as I can tell, DT moved here is only the beginning of the Protoss’ plan of counter-tanking the natural. He spent a bit of time on the Terrans, starting with Gate for pushing in to force tech, then focusing on a third. Eventually all of the ground is lit shut and Terrans start rising up to push the Zerg. I’d like to give him the benefit of the doubt about this concept. As long as Terran forces cannot be here immediately in any order, Zerg will eventually engage the bases of Protoss, regardless of what makes sense the first 2 bases have been placed.
That being said, this is an interesting idea and a solid one because you can see his rationale behind this and there is a lot of room to make Protoss realize their own weaknesses. Some Protoss just play harder than others and play that well. 4. Mutalisks: 6-1 – 5 – 8 – 8 (again the map is on map 69.2 of this post.
